As of 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, the following two Cebu Pacific flights have been cancelled; Manila-Butuan-Manila flight number 5J 785 and 796 respectively. Both are morning and afternoon flights to and from Manila-Butuan.

Due to bad weather and poor visibility, Cebu Pacific Air has canceled several flights Wednesday to and from Butuan City, officials of the airline firm here announced.

The Cebu Pacific also canceled its flights between Cebu and Butuan as well as flights between Butuan and Davao due to the bad weather.

However, the lone Philippine Airlines flight that leaves Manila at 9:45 a.m. proceeded per schedule and is expected to arrive here in Butuan City 12:10 p.m. Wednesday. The PAL flight back to Manila will leave the newly refurbished Butuan City Airport at 12:45 as per schedule, local PAL office officials based here said.
